Why You Should Carry A Gun
American citizens need to buy more guns, get CCW permits, and carry them at all times, every day, to the grocery store, for short errands, and yes, even to church. Concealed, open, it doesn’t matter. Bearing arms is not just your right as an American citizen, it is your duty and responsibility to yourself, your family and to God. It is in obedience to the 6th commandment of God. Because preservation of life is an instruction of that very command.
British, it figures.
“American citizens need to buy more guns, get CCW permits, and carry them at all times, every day, to the grocery store, for short errands, and yes, even to church.”
Absolutely, we’re on the same page brother! Me and my S&W never part. 🙂
It is madness to NOT be armed with a gun at all times. You are absolutely right Bro. Taylor.
Joel, thank you. From a Biblical perspective, you are spot on. Christians should hold the 2nd Amendment up to the scrutiny of Scripture. Christians who hang their hat on the 2nd Amendment, are fighting a losing battle. This is where the debate about “rights” versus “responsibilities” comes into play. The wording, “the right of the people … shall not be infringed.”, by its very nature, implies that a “right”, without specific protection, can indeed be infringed. If this were not the case, there would have been no need to isolate one particular “right”, above all others, to enshrine.
We need to understand that Biblical RESPONSIBILITIES give us NO opportunity to “opt out”. It is the responsibility of EVERY Christian MAN to be armed, and sufficiently trained, in order to always be at the ready, in defense of self, family, and neighbor. Regardless the outcome of the push for evermore draconian gun laws, up to and including the possible banning of ALL privately held firearms, it is still the DUTY of Christians to maintain arms. Most of today’s weak-kneed lily-livered, effeminate, cowardly, so-called Christian males would agree with the popular phrase WWJD (What Would Jesus Do). But they usually don’t know the answer:
Luke 22:36 –“And He said to them, “But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword (or 1911 .45, or Glock 23, or Benelli 12 Gauge, or M4 Carbine, or Savage .338 Lapua) is to sell his coat and buy one.”
1 Timothy 5:8–“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
How can one provide for his own household, if he can’t protect them?
Again, thank you for having the guts to take a stand on this issue.
Never leave home without it.
