The Radford Experience
I have struggled long and hard about whether I should write anything about my family’s experience with the church plant in Radford, VA by Paul Washer and the HeartCry Missionary Society, now known as Christ Church Radford.
But the fact is, there are many of you who have high regards concerning Paul Washer, and so do I. Sometimes, often maybe, our perceptions are distorted. Sometimes our expectations are too high, and we close a blind eye to reality.
Things are not always as they seem. Public perception and reality are often in conflict.
It just may be, that an open, public examination of our experience may benefit the Church at large.

From what I’ve read at your blog, I think you’ll handle this situation with grace. Sometimes we need to share things we would rather not, in order to help others who have gone through similar experiences or to prevent others from being hurt.
I think that as soon as we place any expectation on any man or organisation , we will end up dissappointed , or as my mother was fond of saying , blessed are those who expect little , for they will not be dissappointed . My point ? , only in God and his word will we find true comfort for our souls.
