The Trials of Being Homeless

Homeless man Ronald Davis discusses the trials and tribulations of being homeless in Chicago. He truly puts things in perspective when he tells the interviewers how he can’t get a job without a phone, and can’t get a phone without a job.

 

When I first saw this interview, I could not help but think of the words of the Apostle Paul in I Corinthians 4:11-13:

 

“To the present hour we hunger and thirst, we are poorly dressed and buffeted and homeless, and we labor, working with our own hands. When reviled, we bless; when persecuted, we endure; when slandered, we entreat. We have become, and are still, like the scum of the world, the refuse of all things.”
