Blogging, Margaret Thatcher Style
Margaret Thatcher has passed away. I cannot say that I have read about her life in any biography, nor am I intimately familiar with her service as the former Prime Minister of England. What I know of her I observed on the news broadcasts on the television while growing up. Yet, even I know that in many respects – not all – she was a woman who stood for liberty and freedom while opposing socialism and the liberal camps.
Regardless, I ran across one of her well-known quotes. It is a quote that many bloggers would do well to heed. I know I have already, for quite some time now.
If you just set out to be liked, you would be prepared to compromise on anything at any time and you would achieve nothing.
May it never be so here, Lady Thatcher, may it never be here.
