Proof That Current Leaders of Virginia Are Idiots

Dear Mr. Taylor,

Thank you for contacting me regarding citizenship requirements for the office of President of the United States.  I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.

Article Two of the Constitution states: "No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

I take seriously my oath to support and defend the Constitution.  On April 27, 2011, President Obama released his long form birth certificate provided by the Hawaii State Department of Health.  As your Representative, I will do all that I can to uphold the original meaning and intent of the Constitution.

Sincerely yours,

Member of Congress

Thank you for contacting me to share your thoughts regarding the citizenship of President Obama and the eligibility requirements for individuals to be elected to the Office of the President of the United States.

The facts have consistently shown that President Obama was born in the United States.  As a natural-born American citizen, he is fully eligible to serve as President of our country.
