Maybe not but if we split our vote, we know who will win and it won’t be Romney. So go on and vote for Goode but Obama will then win.
If Romney loses to Obama it will be the GOP’s fault, not the voters. If the Republicans really wanted the support of conservatives, they would nominate a candidate they would feel comfortable voting for rather than the likes of Dole, McCain and Romney. I have never seen such dissatisfaction with the two major parties. A lot of Democrats who supported Obama will not do so this time, and many on the Republican side are fed up with the GOP, especially seeing how they treated Ron Paul and his supporters this year. As a Christian and a traditional conservative (as opposed to the neocons and establishment politicos that control the GOP) I cannot in good conscience support either Romney or Obama. If we want change in our leadership, we must stop supporting the status quo. It is not a wasted vote if you follow your conscience and vote for someone who truly represents your beliefs rather than the false choices the establishment parties give us. I made my mind up long ago to support Virgil Goode and with all the flak I’ve caught because of my decision, I am still convinced I am doing the right thing.
I agree jfberry, the crap that has been coming out of the GOP has been far to left for the likes of me. Unfortunately too many “Republicans” have bought into the 2 party system that they don’t know what “right” looks like, they think that being right of the far leftist is good enough for them. Sadly, the “sheeple” have been led astray.
Excellent post. There are more than 2 candidates. We must vote for the man that honors the Lord. God is Sovereign. We simply must obey Him.

The naivety expressed here is shocking. I hope none of you carry a full purse into Las Vegas, travel across the Mexican border with gold rings on every finger, or have hope the Dallas Cowboys will make the superbowl.
….
Naivety is not expressed in this post David. It is a mere reminder to all that there are more than two dogs in the race, period. This post is not an endorsement of anyone, and need I remind you brother, that your comments are not required posting? Humble thyself my brother.
Joel, you posted this article a few months back in support of Americans voting for Romney in order to vote against Obama. I supported this article’s premise then and I still do now. That’s what I was getting at here. http://5ptsalt.com/2012/06/29/can-you-vote-for-romney/
I understand, and the author of that post expressed his opinion. However, I wanted people to know simply this. Romney and Obama are not the only ones running for President. In fact, others are running who have a far better record, morally and otherwise than either. It was not a vote cast, but informative.
