I’ll hazard a guess, if you’ll provide an English translation….
Go for it!
Maybe it’s really just my increasing old age deafness, but it seems to me he is either speaking in an obscure northern Romanian dialect, or he has mastered the art of completely speaking in sniglets.
I’m going with the sniglets….
That was kinda funny. How to sound well educated while saying nothing. New Age or Emergent church? Thanks , I’m still smiling. I need a laugh.
What he is saying is simply, “Forget God, and God’s word, and create a church after your own imagination, and your own liking”. If you really want to understand what he is saying, get the book “New Churches For Old: A Plea For Community Churches”, written in the 1930s by John Haynes Holmes. The extent to which what Mr. Holmes advocated has come to pass is simply uncanny! And the vast majority of “churches” are infected by this philosophy to a more or less degree, depending on the sophistication of the “pastor”. Another book that might be interesting is “The New Shape Of American Religion” by Martin E. Marty.
Spot on. That’s exactly what he’s saying. The Church should be considered in a state of Emergent-cy.
This is what I believe, people my age that is a generation x-er crave stability thus I have always been attracted to Traditionalist movements, this guy is a Church destroyer, people don’t want new fangled rock and roll Church. Catholicism and Orthodoxy are appealing if they stick to what they always have done, Traditional Anglicanism, I love it, the most beautiful worship ever created with the Mass in English and Reformed Theology with a Sacramental and Mystical bent. I worship currently at a Traditionalist Lutheran Church. The Most Bible focused Church I ever belonged to. I despise Calvary Chapel type of Worship. I went to a Primitive Baptist Church and sang hymns without a piano and organ, and theological power of those hymns caused me to break out in tears. But if the Pastor of the Primitive Baptist Church came to my house and saw all the Holy Icons I have He would judge me to be an idolater. So I can’t be a Primitive Baptist even though I had the best worship experience of my life there. Also the unpaid Pastor of the Primitive Baptist Church preached with power and clarity, I mean power, pure Calvinistic preaching, not shouted, but very weighty, I’m sure people have been converted under that preaching in droves. So for me and many like me. Stick to the Old Paths, innovation is a word I hate when talking about religion. If you think I’m a flake so be it, you’ll never find me in any new fangled religion….period
