He Calls Us Friends
Jesus has called me His friend. I don’t think I’ll ever get over that. Here’s a short snippet from a recent sermon of mine.
No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. – John 15:15

yeah, still working out the “servant” thing into the equation too…
Amen.
I feel the same way about Heb 2:11 where it says He is not ashamed to call us brothers…unfathomable, overwhelming grace.
