Our President Plays the Race Card
President Barack Obama played the race card today, but not in the way you might think. In this case, he calls African Americans ‘Mongrels.’
Wow.
I looked up the definition of the word, and here’s what I found…
- Derogatory term for a variation that is not genuine; something irregular or inferior or of dubious origin
- An inferior dog or one of mixed breed
That’s a twist on the race card isn’t it? Sure it is. When I was growing up the equivalent of “playing the race card” meant viewing one’s skin color as being superior to someone or something.
But lo and behold, here is a ‘black’ President of the United States calling those likewise …or, perhaps, those he would never claim to be his own….”mongrels”. Calling American’s ‘mongrels’ is not very Presidential, to say the least!
Barry, get a dictionary. Have you no clue as to how much insult you have brought to the American people today?
